1977 Koeda-chan tree house
The 1977 Koeda-chan tree house is the first tree house playset in the toy line. A complete set included a swing, a yellow bird and telescope-looking object that you can attach on the top of the tree. There were also yellow furnitures and cute pink cardboard deviders for each room. The 1977 Koeda-chan figures were also different. Their bodies were orange before. Mine is not complete. I also don't have the 1977 figures (hoping I can find one soon). But I'm very happy that I got the very first Koeda-chan tree house that pioneered the charm of the toy line from the 70's to the 2000s.

1986 Ribbon Ribbon Licca chan
My collection of the Ribbon-Ribbon Licca chan dolls. They are wearing their original dresses and hair accessories. For me this head sculpt and how it was painted made this version look sweet and cute. I also like that their dresses have lace details. I am still looking for more pictures of their other original dresses and shoes. But as of now, I only saw a few blurry video of the Ribbon Ribbon commercial.

1986 Takara Ribbon Ribbon Licca Chan
One of my favorite Licca-chan is the Ribbon Ribbon Licca-chan. This is in the transition period from the 3rd generation to the 4th generation. The face is 4th generation, while her body is 3rd generation. I read from one doll website that one classification of Ribbon Ribbon Licca is her ribbon earrings. The big ribbon design on the dress that is tied at the waist is also removable and can become a hair ornament for girls. Mine already lost the hair ornament and I just sewn a new lace hairband for her.

1989 Charm-Up Jenny Playset
What made me love this playset is the miniature things that is included in the set. Mine is missing a few things such as the golden comb, the make-up applicator, and the lipstick. The design too is so cute. It was good that the colors used in the playset were not bright colors; giving it a different style than the Licca playsets which were usually pink-themed.

1989 Vintage Takara Starlight Jenny doll
One of the unique features of the doll is her eyes that has Swarovski crystals. Usually, Starlight Jenny dolls have long wavy hair, gold accessories, and sparkly set of clothes. (Edit: I made a new dress for her. Her pink satin dress was inspired by the 80's prom dresses I saw on the internet. I think it fits the sparkle of the crystals on her eyes.)

1993 Furry Families Cat Family Teapot Playset Takara
My information is still limited but what I know about this playset is that some of the playsets for the Furry Family is from the playset design of Koeda chan (like the apple, mushroom house for example). The teapot design along with the shoe, jar, jewelry box, and wall clock are the ones that doesn't have any similar playset from Koeda. notes found on Etsy: "Manufactured by Takara for Playmates in 1993. "These cute kittens live in a lovely teapot filled with furniture and fun!" The Kitty family includes Mama, Papa and two little kitty cats. Teapot house and teeny furniture includes sofa, bookshelf, sewing machine, stool, dress form and standing mirror. Accessories can fit inside teapot for storage. Teapot is about 5 3/4" high, Mama and Papa are approximately 1 3/4" tall."

1995 Bandai Japan Eternal Sailor Moon Dream Pocket Doll
I grew up watching Sailormoon with my sibling in the 90's. It was my first encounter with magical girls. And until now, many collectors are still collecting toys of Sailormoon produced in the 90's. This is one of my favorite finds. It is a mini doll of Sailormoon. The complete set has white shoes and a pink bag that has a transparent pocket.

2016 Kirakira Pretty Cure a La Mode Patisserie Shop
One of my favorite battery-operated toys from the Kirakira Precure a la mode series is the patisserie shop. The device uses animal sweets so you can play games on it. One of the games is playing as a patisserie staff and serving and baking sweets that will match the requests of each character who will visit the shop. A perfect match will show a special reaction from the character.

2020 Bella Parker Rainbow High Doll by MGA Entertainment
Rainbow High Dolls were created by Michael Scott Anderson and produced by an American toy company MGA Entertainment. The first franchise of the dolls were called as Rainbow Surprise dolls but soon became Rainbow High dolls with an animated tv show to tell the story of each character. The animation is about an elite visual arts school with characters representing the rainbow colors. The difference between the Rainbow Surprise and Rainbow High dolls were their eyes, the first one has painted eyes, while the later has inset glass eyes. The body of the Rainbow High dolls were articulated. The accessories were all latest fashioned-themed and were all well-made. There were also doll houses and playsets produced along with other characters, as well as the Shadow High dolls which were in greyscale colors. The doll that I have belongs to the series two dolls named as Bella Parker representing the color Pink. She is studying Art Direction with a special focus on Set Design.

A Three-Dimensional Victorian Doll House (1998)
My only pop-up book of Victorian themed house. These books were quite difficult to find, especially the miniature ones. What I find so charming in this book is the craftmanship and attention to details. Since what I have is so old now, some parts were missing especially the paper doll that comes a long with it. Here is the description at the back of the book: "This beautifully illustrated carousel doll house has two stories, and eight rooms. When you tie back the strings, the house stands on its own, revealing exquisite decorative details and pop-up furniture like a mirrrored armoire, a tufted settee, a chandelier and a baby grand piano. The press-out pieces include stand-alone dolls and play accessories— even a mini doll house! With three-dimensional surprises in every room, this doll house will delight children and collectors alike." ISBN: 1-89693-882-5 Designed by: Willabel L. Anokohadare Series Yuu-kun
I really don't know what to call this adorable looking doll. There are no markings on his back and even at the back of his head. I bought this doll in the second-hand shop again as I have a hobby of adopting things that I think I can restore. He was wearing what looks like preschool uniform. Sadly, I cannot really find enough information about him. his old uniform was so damaged by dirt that I don't know if the cleaning damaged the original color of his shorts. The yukata he wears now is handsewn by me. I think it really fits him. For my next free time, I will definitely sew some socks or make his wooden slippers. Edit: Finally found an information about this doll. It was called Anokohadare Series dolls. According to the blog I found, it was released during "Epoch around Showa 60". In some listings it was dated as 1988. I don't know which one is correct. The original clothes that he wears is a part of the "Youchien Look" series. The doll is named Yuu-kun according to the blog.

Bandai Cure Black mini doll (Futari wa Pretty Cure)
I don't really know if this is a rare item now but the production date according to an online auction house is 2004, the same year the Futari wa Pretty Cure anime was aired. From where I live these dolls were really rare. It is a surprise for me that this doll has glass eyes because commonly I only see painted eyes for Bandai dolls. I think that's what made her unique.

Bandai Heartcatch Pretty Cure! Kokoro perfume (Cure Blossom and Cure Marine) and Shiny perfume (Cure Sunshine)
These are the two perfumes from Heartcatch! Pretty Cure! series. The Kokoro perfume was the one with pink outline around the gold ornate design. In the packaging of the Kokoro perfume, the featured characters are Cure Blossom and Cure Marine. It also includes their heart seeds (pink and blue heart seeds). The Shiny perfume only differs in color. It has a yellow color on the body of the perfume and the gold ornate design was also different. Its box featured Cure Sunshine and her yellow heart seed.

Bandai Heartcatch! Pretty Cure! Heart Seeds
Each Heart seed has a character representing per color. It was fortunate that I collected a few and does not have any repeating design. Heartseeds are used on the kokoro perfume, shiny perfume, and on the kokoro pot.
