「Singapore」(シンガポール) これはシンガポール国際空港を描く作品。ただし、1970年代頃のものなので、現行のチャンギ国際空港(Changi, 1981〜)ではなく、パヤ・レバー国際空港(Paya Lebar, 1955〜1981)だろう。裏に日本産のシールが貼られていて興味深い。全長61cm。 ［1970年代頃? / #ヴィンテージ ］ ・このペナントは、1970年代頃に日本が世界各地にお土産ペナントを生産・輸出していた事を示す貴重な例のひとつです。 Souvenir #pennant in the world, my collection. 「FREEDOM LAND」(USA) かつてニューヨーク州ブロンクスにあった遊園地、フリーダムランド。西海岸で成功したディズニーランドに想を得て1960年に開園したが64年に破産した。 これはアメリカの歴史等を題材にしたアトラクションの数々を描く作品。全長67cm、フェルト製。 [1960年代/ #ヴィンテージ ] ・フリーダムランドの創設者は、かつてディズニーランドの開業に深く関わった人物で、ディズニーと方向性の違いにより袂を分かったという。近年研究書が発売されるなど、アメリカの興行、遊園地の歴史の一頁とされている。 敷地が合衆国の形をしているなど、とてもユニークな遊園地だったそうだ。 Souvenir #pennant in the world, my collection. 宝塚ファミリーランド お土産ペナント 1960年代 20241230
「Takarazuka」(兵庫県) 宝塚市。"宝塚ファミリーランド"は1910年代に開業した宝塚新温泉を前身とし、60年に改称。2006年閉園。遊園地や動物園など、様々なアトラクションを備えたレジャーランドだった。 これは猿山を描く。宝塚は歌劇団創設以前から観光開発が進んだ土地で1960年代以降のお土産ペナントも数多いが、"宝塚ファミリーランド"をモチーフにしたものは比較的に珍しい。全長28cm。 ［1960年代/ #昭和レトロ ］ Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection. 「EXPO'70 YASHICA ELECTRO 35」(大阪府) 1970年開催の日本万国博覧会。 ヤシカは我が国のカメラメーカー。出展はしていないが、こうしたペナント(公式製品)で代表機の"ヤシカ エレクトロ35 ゴールドメカニカ"をPRしていた。虹色は万博のあちこちで使われたデザイン。 比較的に珍しい作品。 Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection.
