「おくのほそ道」(岩手県)
俳聖・松尾芭蕉の紀行文(1702年)。江戸を立ち東北を巡り大垣まで、約5ヶ月の旅だった。
これは中尊寺とされているが、平泉で詠んだ "夏草や つわものどもが 夢の跡" を記す。中尊寺といえば "五月雨の 降り残してや 光堂" が有名であり、意表を突く選択である。描かれた建物は江戸、隅田川沿いの芭蕉庵だろうか。全長62cm。

"Oku no Hosomichi" is a collection of haiku and travelogue by Matsuo Basho, a famous 17th century haiku poet. This pennant depicts a haiku written in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture, entitled "Natsukasaya Tsuwamonodomoga Yume no Ato", an image of Matsuo Basho, and his hermitage.
Length 62cm (24.4in). This pennant was produced around 1970s or 1980s. #vintage
