Mark-Almond / Other People Rooms
First of all, please do not confuse Mark-Almond with Marc Almond (ex Soft Cell). Mark-Almond is the duo unit comprising of Jon Mark and Johnny Almond. This duo released 4 albums with CBS in early 70's and disbanded once. In 1976, they restarted their collaboration and moved to United States to release "To The Heart" with abc Records. Tommy Lipuma, a great producer offered them to release an album under Horizon, Tommy's own label. As shown on the album jacket, this album's mood is a European-flavored sophisticated jazzy night music, which is a little bit similar with those of Michael Franks. Release: 1978 Label: Horizon - A&M Records, USA (SP-730) First Reissued CD Release: 5 June, 1987 (A&M Records- Pony Canyon, Japan, D32Y3832) Tracks: 1. The City 2. Girl On Table 4 3.
