The Tubes / Tubes World Tour 2001
San Francisco Rock Band "Tubes" changed their music more pop and commercial in their Capitol Records era. In 1981, they released an album "Completion Backwards Principle" featuring smash hits "Talk to You Later" and "Don't Want to Wait Anymore". Top 10 hit song "She's a Beauty" pushed their 1983 album "Outside/Inside" into the Top 20 Albums chart. After releasing "Love Bomb" in 1986, the Tubes disbanded. In 1993, the Tubes reunited and released the album "Genius of America" in 1996. In 2000, the Tubes embarked on extensive tour, issuing the greatest-hits-live album "Tubes World Tour 2001" captured recorded live at The Galaxy Theater, Santa Ana, Ca. 22 January, 2000, plus 2 new studio recording songs. A new song "Loveline" is written by Fee Waybill, David Foster, Steve Lukather and Richard Marx. And this song is produced by David Foster with Greg Ladanyi and Dave Carlock. Walking In Avalon
Christopher Cross 1998 album titled "Walking In Avalon" was originally released with Double Discs. The first Disc is an album of the new material that they are working on at that time. The second Disc is a live "Best of" concert recorded on 10 March,1998 at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, California, USA., a small indoor venue. The show is essentially the same concert that can also be found on the DVD “An Evening With Christopher Cross”, which includes “Words Of Wisdom” and “ Say You'll Be Mine” in addition to the CD contents. 2 years later in 2000, “Walking In Avalon” was re-released as “Red Room” without the bonus live CD by CMC International USA. And the live bonus CD was also re-released as “Greatest Hits Live” but only with 10 tracks plus two bonus studio tracks from “Walking In Avalon” ( “Walking In Avalon” and “Hunger”) in 1999. In Japan, studio recording album was released without bonus live CD on 21 August, 1998 by Victor Entertainment (VICP60465), whilst the bonus live disc was solely released as “A Night With Christopher Cross~Best Hits Live” on 23 September, 1998 by Victor Entertainment (VICP-60474). The late Lowell George is known for his 1970's works as the primary member of the Legendary band "Little Feet". In 1979, after disbanding "Little Feet", Lowelll had started his solo career with the album "Eat It Here", but unfortunately he was gone during solo tour on June 29, 1979. The slide guitar he played was really very unique and nobody cannot play like him. This is a tribute album to Lowell George, featuring acclaimed artists such as J.D.
