Chris Christian is one of the key person in Contemporary Christian Music Field, well-known as the producer for early works of Amy Grant, B.J. Thomas and White Heart. Nevertheless, Chris is one of the good singer/song writers. Texas born Chris started his music career in 1974 in Nashville, played banjo for Opryland Dixieland Band. Then, he was recruited by Michael Lloyd and Daryl Cotton to form the new trio, replacing Steve Kipner who formed a new group, Skyband with Lane Caudell and Peter Beckett. Joseph Williams
Here is the self-titled first solo album released in 1982 from Great Records before he joined Toto. The young Joseph shown his first class vocal and songwriting talent already on this first album., which would naturally open the path to be a member of Toto later. Speaking of the original vinyl, there were two kinds. That is to say, the first press (having the number MCA3001 under the LP serial number MCA 5316 on the record A-side label) was different from later press (the number MCA3050 under the LP serial number MCA 5316 on the record A-side label and also find that the credit "Mixed by Al Schmit") Michael Landau did not play his great guitar solo on the track "I Didn't Do it" for the initial version. However, Michael Landau played the guitar solo on the track which appeared on the later version. When the second reissue was made in 2002, both versions of "I Didn't Do It" were on it as a bonus track. Furious applause to Toshiki Nakada!
