2022年11月現時点でLed Zeppelinの最古の音源として確認されているDecember 30th 1968の The Gymnasium, Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA 俗にゴンザガ大学のライブを初収録したGonzaga '68と言う商品だ。 1 Train Kept A Rollin' 2 I Can't Quit You 3 As Long As I Have You (Medley: Fresh Garbage, Shake, Hush) 4 Dazed And Confused 5 White Summer 6 How Many More Times (Includes The Hunter) 7 Pat's Delight ３曲目As Long As I Have You(Garnet Mimmsのカバー)は未だ日の目を見ていないが、毎回鳥肌もののメドレー含んで18分強あるパフォーマンスを聴かせてくれる。 最後のPat's Delightはボンゾをフィーチャーしたドラムソロ曲でゆくゆくはMoby Dickへと進化する前の曲だ。ボンゾのドラミングはファーストアルバムでご認識の通り既に完成している。さすがだ。 この時代の音源がこんなにかなり良い音で聴けるのは嬉しい限りだ。

ZU LAUT! Live at the Star-Club
ハンブルクはStar-ClubのライブをCD2枚にたっぷり収録。あらけずりなロックンローラーとしては当然ながら、しっかりバラードも聴かせてくれる。オリジナルはI Saw Her Standing ThereとレアなFalling In Love Againがあるがまだまだ未完成未成熟。しかし、随所に才能がキラリと光る。おまけ？にDVDが付いています。映像は少ないがこの時期に撮られた200枚の写真がスライドショーで楽しめる。
