2005 Wiesmann GT MF4
Siku 1/55 Car: Wiesmann GT MF4 Year: 2005 Color: Orange As far as I know, Siku are the only ones who have produced a licensed Wiesmann model in the 3-inch diecast segment. They have 2 castings: the Roadster MF5 and this older GT MF4. The only reason I decided to get this one was so that I could add a Wiesmann to my collection. I am actually quite happy I did because I think this is done really well. This has been released in multiple colors but this Orange one is probably one of my favorites. If I am not mistaken, the Wiesmann GT MF4 is powered by a BMW V8 engine. Sadly, I don't know much about Wiesmann and I'm actually not sure if they are still around today.

1997 Mercedes-Benz A Class
Realtoy 1/64 Car: Mercedes-Benz A Class Year: 1997 Color: Light Purple Metallic I am not sure if this color was actually offered by Mercedes but I do think it's really nice. This Realtoy casting is not in a perfect condition but I think it's acceptable. Every time I add a Realtoy casting to my collection, I feel sad knowing that they are no longer in the market.

1997 Toyota Crown Comfort Taxi
80M Model 1/76 Car: Toyota Crown Comfort Taxi Year: 1997 Livery: Hong Kong - Red This was given to me by someone who's pretty special to me. This is actually my first encounter with the 80M Model brand and upon doing some research, it seems that most of their models are based on Hong Kong public transport vehicles. I listed this one as a 1997 model since it seems to be based on the first version of the Toyota Crown Comfort and I remember reading somewhere before that these were first used as taxis in Hong Back back in 1997. This model I think is not licensed by Toyota since there are no badging on the car but it is still a pretty well done example. It's nice to add another real life taxi to my collection and this will go well with the ComfortDelGro taxis that I have from Tomica.

1979 Nissan Diesel CW V8 Mixer (Mk. 2)
Tomica 1/64 Tomica No. 53 (1981) Car: Nissan Diesel CW V8 Mixer (Mk. 2) Year: 1979 Color: White, Blue, and Yellow I had this same casting when I was younger. That one was in a lot worse shape than this example I am showing today. I've seen this casting listed as a Nissan Diesel Resona but from what I've researched, the Resona brand name was only used starting in 1983 and the headlights on that version of the Nissan Diesel mixer was different. The headlights on this one are rounded while the Resona had rectangular headlights. The year I listed here is just a guess but I would like to think it is close enough.

2009 Auto Staff Suehiro Ouroboros
Tomica 1/64 Tomica No. 75 (2011) Car: Auto Staff Suehiro Ouroboros Year: 2009 Color: Orange and Black The actual name of this casting is "Znug design Ouroboros". It is actually not a car but a tricycle. If I am not mistaken, this is the first motorcycle-based vehicle I have in my collection. After doing some research, I learned that the Ouroboros was commissioned by a Japanese motorcycle shop called Auto Staff Suehiro. The designer and developer of the vehicle I believe was znug design which was founded by Kota Nezu who used to work for Toyota. I think it's a really interesting vehicle but I can't really find too much information on it, perhaps most are in Japanese which is why I have trouble finding them.

2001 Volkswagen New Beetle RSi
Edocar 1/72(?) Car: Volkswagen New Beetle RSi Year: 2001 Color: Cyber Green Metallic This is my first Edocar-branded casting. It's actually a new casting to me too since I've actually never seen this one before. It seems to be that the scale is closer to 1/72 than 1/64. The casting seems to be based on the New Beetle RSi trim which was a limited version. I believe it is the rarest New Beetle version but I am not 100% sure. If I am not mistaken, the real car was actually offered in Silver but this color seems to be very close to the Cyber Green Metallic factory color that is offered on standard New Beetles.

2013 Nissin Hiyoko-Chan Bus
Tomica 1/64 Dream Tomica No. 151 (2012) Car: Nissin Hiyoko-Chan Bus Year: 2013(?) This casting is called the Hiyoko-Chan Bus, named after the Nissin Chicken Ramen mascot in Japan. I originally thought this was just a fictional thing made up by Tomica as some sort of promotion for Nissin but after I did some research, I learned that this was actually real. Interestingly, the real version is actually not a bus but a trailer instead with the face actually being the rear of the real trailer. This is not usually something I would get. I actually gave this one to my sister since she thinks that Hiyoko, the Nissin Chicken Ramen mascot, is cute.

2022 Nissan Z GT500 #23 (SGT)
Kyosho 1/64 Kyosho NISMO Exclusive Car: Nissan Z GT500 #23 Series: 2022 Super GT Series Class: GT500 Team: NISMO Drivers: Tsugio Matsuda, Ronnie Quintarelli Result: 7th in GT500 Drivers Standings I initially thought this would be the same as the Mini GT casting but I realized pretty soon that this Kyosho casting is based on the 2022 car while the Mini GT is based on the 2023 car. From what I know, this seems to have been sold in the NISMO Festival event in Japan which is usually held during December. The RZ34 generation Z GT500 was first used in 2022. The car had a pretty successful debut season with the No. 12 Calsonic Impul car winning the championship. This specific car is based on the NISMO No. 23 entry. The No. 23 crew didn't really have a particularly nice year, with their best finish being 2nd in the Sugo round. The pair of Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli would end up finishing 7th in the championship, many points behind the 1st place Calsonic Impul car and the 2nd place NDDP Racing car which are both Nissans.

2009 Lola - Aston Martin B09/60 #007 (LM24)
Norev 1/64 Car: Lola - Aston Martin B09/60 #007 Series: 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours Class: LMP1 Team: AMR Eastern Europe Drivers: Jan Charouz, Tomas Enge, Stefan Mucke Result: 4th overall, 4th in LMP1 This is my first ever Norev casting and it is a pretty good one. I was actually expecting this to be bigger so I was quite happy to see that it is actually smaller than the Suntory Audi LMP1 castings that I have, making it easier to fit in the display case of my Le Mans cars. I really liked the look of this Aston Martin LMP1 car and I've unfortunately missed out on buying some of the Kyosho versions before so I was glad to get this one. The Lola - Aston Martin B09/60 was an LMP1 car built by Lola with some help from Prodrive who ran Aston Martin's racing program. It was an updated version of the Lola B08/60 which was also used by Aston Martin's partner Charouz Racing Systems in the 2008 season. In the 2009 Le Mans Series season, the Lola - Aston Martin was quite successful, with the No. 007 car winning 2 races and actually never finishing outside the podium which resulted in them winning the LMP1 championship. This particular example from Norev is based on the No. 007 car that participated in the 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours race. In qualifying, this car was the fastest non-diesel car and they qualified 8th on the grid. In the actual race, the Lola - Aston Martin cars were outpaced by the diesel-powered cars from Peugeot and Audi. Still, the No. 007 car finished 4th overall and best of the petrol-powered cars after some of the diesel entries encountered issues.

1978 Porsche 935/78 #43 (LM24)
Para64 1/64 PA-55801 (2024) Car: Porsche 935/78 #43 Series: 1978 Le Mans 24 Hours Class: Gr.5+2.0 Team: Martini Racing Porsche System Drivers: Manfred Schurti, Rolf Stommelen Result: 8th overall, 3rd in Gr.5+2.0 What I like about Para64 is that most of the time, they do castings that no other diecast manufacturer are currently doing. This Porsche 935/78 is one example. Although Hot Wheels has already released this car, they aren't exactly what you would consider a "premium" car even with their rubber tires. Para64 released this car in 2 liveries: this No. 43 Martini car from the 1978 Le Mans 24 Hours and a Momo-liveried one based on an IMSA participant from I think 1981. This No. 43 car qualified 3rd in the 1978 Le Mans 24 Hours, actually beating out some of the prototype cars from Alpine and Porsche. It spent most of the early part of the race I believe in the top 6, mostly playing a supporting role to the Porsche 936 cars that were fighting the Alpines. Unfortunately, the car would face problems that I believe lost them a lot of time and dropped them down the order. They eventually finished 8th overall and 3rd in class but they were around 10 laps behind the class winner and more than 40 laps behind the overall winner.

2023 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo
Tomica 1/64 Tomica No. 22 (2024) Car: Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo Year: 2023 Color: Red Orange It's not too often that Tomica releases race cars with a plain livery so seeing this one being released was a pleasant surprise. The color of this one I believe is based on the presentation model but this one is more reddish compared to the ones I've seen. The Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo, as the name suggests, is an evolution of the GR Supra GT4 that was in use since 2020 if I am not mistaken. This Evo version was introduced for the 2023 season and according to the Toyota website, the three areas that the development team focused on are the brakes, the handling of the car, and the engine. This was based on the feedback from the customers of their previous GT4 car. I am not super familiar with GT4 racing so I can't say exactly if this car is super successful compared to its peers but I do remember reading articles about the car winning some races.
