Koeda Chan Town Series Fried Chicken Shop 1985
One of my older versions of Koeda Chan playsets. It's one of the smallest too. It is a part of the Koeda Chan Town Series along with other shops such as the dress shop and burger shop among others. It comes with a figure of Koeda Chan's friend Apple-chan. It took me a while to finally post this because I have to look for the other figure that has the same color as Apple-chan.

1993 Furry Families Cat Family Teapot Playset Takara
My information is still limited but what I know about this playset is that some of the playsets for the Furry Family is from the playset design of Koeda chan (like the apple, mushroom house for example). The teapot design along with the shoe, jar, jewelry box, and wall clock are the ones that doesn't have any similar playset from Koeda. notes found on Etsy: "Manufactured by Takara for Playmates in 1993. "These cute kittens live in a lovely teapot filled with furniture and fun!" The Kitty family includes Mama, Papa and two little kitty cats. Teapot house and teeny furniture includes sofa, bookshelf, sewing machine, stool, dress form and standing mirror. Accessories can fit inside teapot for storage. Teapot is about 5 3/4" high, Mama and Papa are approximately 1 3/4" tall."

1986 Ribbon Ribbon Licca chan
My collection of the Ribbon-Ribbon Licca chan dolls. They are wearing their original dresses and hair accessories. For me this head sculpt and how it was painted made this version look sweet and cute. I also like that their dresses have lace details. I am still looking for more pictures of their other original dresses and shoes. But as of now, I only saw a few blurry video of the Ribbon Ribbon commercial.

1989 Charm-Up Jenny Playset
What made me love this playset is the miniature things that is included in the set. Mine is missing a few things such as the golden comb, the make-up applicator, and the lipstick. The design too is so cute. It was good that the colors used in the playset were not bright colors; giving it a different style than the Licca playsets which were usually pink-themed.

Custom made Takara Licca chan Kiki's Delivery Service Doll
I customed one of my 4th generations Licca chan doll into the Thirteen-year-old trainee witch Kiki; the main character from the Ghibli movie Kiki's Delivery Service. She's one of my favorite movie animation characters when I was a kid. Hoping I can make a diorama of the bakery for her soon. The dress, ribbon, and bag were all handsewn. I also made her small red radio out of cardboard and beads. Although I also want the original Takara-designed Kiki doll, I wanted to make a custom doll of the character by hand because she's special to me.

1986 Takara Ribbon Ribbon Licca Chan
One of my favorite Licca-chan is the Ribbon Ribbon Licca-chan. This is in the transition period from the 3rd generation to the 4th generation. The face is 4th generation, while her body is 3rd generation. I read from one doll website that one classification of Ribbon Ribbon Licca is her ribbon earrings. The big ribbon design on the dress that is tied at the waist is also removable and can become a hair ornament for girls. Mine already lost the hair ornament and I just sewn a new lace hairband for her.

Takara Chii-chan playset
I don't really know the production date of this playset, but the illustrations used for the design looked like my vintage Licca playsets. What I like from these kinds of playsets are the illustration that looked like watercolor paintings. It adds a nostalgia vibe too. unfortunately, I can't find any information about this doll house. The miniature furniture included were made by Takara but I feel that they belong to random playsets. If you have any information about these kinds of toys it would greatly help.

Takara Jenny Angels Garden AGIS 1999
As always, I buy second-hand dolls than new ones. I just like the thought of giving another chance to things. I bought this without clothes and accessories and ofcourse with a few damage parts in her hair. The clothes she's wearing are handsewn by me and just added a few accessories with beads and embellishments.

Koeda chan x Hello Kitty strawberry house
I bought this in an auction house without the accessories. I was surprised that it is also a collab with Hello Kitty. The structure is so cute with its folding floor and strawberry shaped exterior. It is also battery operated so you can hear the characters' lines. To make it look more cute, I added some excess accessories from my cocotama sets and other playsets.

Takara Timotei (Jenny friend) 1995
A new version of Timotei was produced by the year of 1995. The notable change on the doll was her eye. the first version has blue eyes, and this second version has green eyes. I think the hair is also longer. I read in one of the museums here- Oswald's Museum- that there are a lot of small changes on every reproduction of the green-eyed Timotei.

Takara Licca Chan first generation
I don't know the difference of this doll to the other one, but it has the same no-twist waist and belly button. She came to me in a very bad condition. Her face and body has pen marks, and her hair was so stiff. Just recently found a dress that could fit her features.

Takara Licca-chan First Generation
I'm not really knowledgeable with every generation of the Takara Licca-chan. I only know from researching that the first-generation dolls were produced at the year of 1967. Mine has a no-twist waist and belly button. The charm of the first generation for me is her hairstyle and face. The clothes were from the playset of first-generation mama Orie's dressmaking shop.
