Pages (1981)

0

The third and final Pages’ album must be the best masterpiece album of early 1980’s.
After releasing two albums produced by Bobby Colomby for Epic Records, they switched to Capitol Records since both albums were not successful enough in terms of sales, that is to say, the single from “Future Street” the second album, “I Do Believe In You” peaked number 84 on Billboard Hot 100 in December 1979. Richard Page and Steve George had Jay Graydon to produce the third album, that was again self-titled and released in 1981. Two singles were released from the album, "You Need a Hero" and "Come on Home", which were the only tracks produced by Bobby Colomby on the album. Although the album was produced in perfect shape by Jay Graydon with acclaimed musicians including Jeff Porcaro on drums, the album failed to chart. True music lovers admit that Pages completed their own marvelous music style with Jay Graydon, but the two had to wait for several years when they released "Welcome To The Real World" in 1986 as Mr. Mister.
