Roger Voudouris / Radio Dream

California native Roger Voudouris released his self-titled solo debut album in 1978, following two albums as the duo unit Voudouris / Kahne. The next move was the successful second solo album titled "Radio Dream" in 1979, including his "Get Used To It" written by Michael Omartian and Voudouris, that climbed to number 21 on the Billboard Top 100 and also reached number 4 in Australia. On this second album, Voudouris established his Westcoast-styled American Rock, that had listeners feel the clear and dry air in California, with Los Angeles top musicians such as Jay Graydon and Randy Brecker. In addition to his commercial success in his home country and Australia, Voudouris became very popular in Japan also. Two more solo albums “A Guy Like Me" (1980) and "On The Heels Of Love" (1981) Voudouris released, Voudouris came back as the executive music producer and the co-owner of the contemporary Jazz / New-Age music label Artful Balance Records in 1986, Randy Waldman, David Diggs and many more released their leader albums in late 1980’s and early 1990’s under the label.
Voudouris passed away at the age of 48 due to natural cause on 3 August, 2003.
