Patti LaBelleは偉大なソウル歌手です。もともとThe Blue Bellesの中心メンバーとしてデビュー。このユニットはその後Bluebelles、Patti LaBelle and the Bluebellesの名前を経て最終的には1971年にLaBelleになりました。しかも70年代には同時進行でソロとしてPatti LaBelle名義でも活躍しています。ややこしい・・・・。
これはヴォーカル・トリオ"Labelle"としての5作目。プロデュース・アレンジ・キーボードなどでAllen Toussaintが参加していますが、そのつもりで聴いてもあまりAllen Toussaintの影響を感じません。。。
