小湊山 誕生寺」(たんじょうじ、千葉県)
鴨川市小湊（こみなと）の寺院、 #誕生寺 。日蓮の誕生地に建立され日蓮宗大本山、創建は13世紀。
これは境内の祖師堂をとともに鯛の浦(妙の浦)のマダイを描く。跳ね上がる姿が面白いが、産湯の湧水と蓮の花（青蓮華）とともに日蓮生誕の"三奇瑞"の伝承を表している。全長60cm。

3, イラストの拡大。中央に描かれる大きな瓦屋根の堂宇は祖師堂か。特に大きな水しぶきを上げて跳ね上がる真っ赤なマダイは小湊・妙の浦の象徴で目を引く。また、水の湧く誕生水（産湯）の井戸と蓮の花（青蓮華）も描かれている。これらは合わせて日蓮聖人降誕の"三奇瑞"のモチーフを表したものである。
4, タイトルは和文。筆文字風の漢字で "誕生寺" （赤）。サブタイトルは山号の "小湊山" （黒）。タイトルの右に寺紋が描かれている。

Tanjo-ji Temple was built on the site where the 11th century Buddhist monk Nichiren was born. Nichiren is known to have founded the Nichiren sect of Buddhism. This pennant depicts a sea bream, spring water, and lotus flowers associated with the legend of Nichiren's birth.
Length 60cm （23.6in）. This pennant was produced around the 1970s or 1980s. #vintage

3, Enlargement of the illustration. The illustration depicts a bright red sea bream leaping up with a large splash of water around a large tile-roofed hall. A well with a spring and lotus flowers are also depicted. Together, they represent the legend of the "three good omens" of the birth of the monk Nichiren.
4, The title is in Japanese. The title is "Tanjo-ji Temple" (red) in brush-style kanji characters. The subtitle is "Kominato-san" (black), the name of a mountain. The temple's crest is drawn on the right of the title.
