The MBX Field Car Convertible is a generic model of a convertible monster truck and is based on a the earlier MBX Field Car SUV, manufactured since 2021. That model is in turn based on the previous Field Car casting manufactured from 1969-80. which itself was based on the real-life International Harvester Scout, produced from 1960-71. Unlike the MBX Field Car, which has round rear wheel arches, the MBX Field Car Convertible has angular wheel arches around all four wheels.
