Various Artists / Thoughtscape Sounds '97 Sampler CD

As at 1997, CD Now and Music Boulevard were the twomajor online CD retailers, but they were handling major label titles only, Amazon was online bookstore then. It was 1999 when CD now and Music Boulevard merged into one. In 2001, CD now became part of Amazon platform. This fact means that we did not have any good on-line (or international mail order) CD retailers selling independent label releases and rare imported CDs from various countries before Scott Sossebee established Thoughtscape Sounds.
The one of the best AOR specialized mail order retailers then started their own label for real AOR / Westcoast music lovers in 1997. The first release titles were four albums; "Bruce Gaitsch - Aphasia" (TSS-0001), "Janey Clewer -Call Me Romantic" (TSS-0002), "Fee Waybill - Don't Be Scared With These Hands" (TSS-0003) and this sampler album "Thoughtscape Sounds '97 Sampler" (TSS-0004).
This compilation album was really worth buying for those who would like to know what the music should be. Furthermore, we could listen to the two unreleased tracks performed by Bill Champlin only on this CD.
