この年2枚目となるタワー・オブ・パワーの6枚目のアルバム。エミリオ・カスティーヨとタワー・オブ・パワーのプロデュース。
新ヴォーカリストにヒューバート・タブスを起用している。シャウト系の荒々しい感じで歌っているスタイルは、バンドの新たな魅力となっているかもしれない。しかし、タブスの歌声はこのアルバムと、次のライヴ・アルバム“Live and in Living Color”だけとなっている。
そして、このアルバムを最後にワーナー・ブラザースを離れた。
