カサンドラ・ウィルソンのセルフ・プロデュースによる15枚目のアルバム。
このアルバムは、ジャズでは無くブルースを前面に出した内容で、大半はミシシッピ州のクラークスデールの駅で録音されている。
深い味わいのあるカサンドラのヴォーカルが、存分に堪能出来るアルバムとなっている。しかし、歌っている曲はブルースだけでは無く、ザ・バンドの“The Weight”や、ボブ・ディランの“Shelter from the Storm”、ジェームス・テイラーの“Only a Dream in Rio”、ジミー・ウェブの“Wichita Lineman”のカヴァーもある。
ニューヨークに戻って録音したアントニオ・カルロス・ジョビンの“Waters of March”と、日本盤のボーナス・トラックの“Corcovard”は意外な選曲だが、何気に良い。
聴いておきたいアルバムのひとつ。
