サンタナの20枚目のアルバム。サンタナとクライヴ・デイヴィスがトータル・プロデュースで、マット・セルレチック、ハワード・ベンソンが曲ごとのプロデュースを行っている。
ゲスト・ヴォーカルを呼んでの第4弾は、ロック・クラシックと呼ばれる曲のカヴァーとなっている。曲名を見るだけでワクワクする内容だが、それがラテンのリズムに乗ってご機嫌なグルーヴで演奏されている。
“While My Guitar Gently Weeps”は、ヨーヨー・マが参加していて、スパニッシュ・テイストの味付けとなっている。
“Riders on the Storm”はレイ・マンザレクが参加していて、オリジナルの雰囲気を感じられる仕上がり。
“Little Wing”はオリジナルに近い感じで、ジョー・コッカーの魂の歌声を聴くことが出来る。
