Anokohadare Series Yuu-kun
I really don't know what to call this adorable looking doll. There are no markings on his back and even at the back of his head. I bought this doll in the second-hand shop again as I have a hobby of adopting things that I think I can restore. He was wearing what looks like preschool uniform. Sadly, I cannot really find enough information about him. his old uniform was so damaged by dirt that I don't know if the cleaning damaged the original color of his shorts. The yukata he wears now is handsewn by me. I think it really fits him. For my next free time, I will definitely sew some socks or make his wooden slippers. Edit: Finally found an information about this doll. It was called Anokohadare Series dolls. According to the blog I found, it was released during "Epoch around Showa 60". In some listings it was dated as 1988. I don't know which one is correct. The original clothes that he wears is a part of the "Youchien Look" series. The doll is named Yuu-kun according to the blog.

Takara Jenny Angels Garden AGIS 1999
As always, I buy second-hand dolls than new ones. I just like the thought of giving another chance to things. I bought this without clothes and accessories and ofcourse with a few damage parts in her hair. The clothes she's wearing are handsewn by me and just added a few accessories with beads and embellishments.

Vintage tin robot space explorer (King Metal)
I have also fascination with tin lithographed toys. The one that I bought is a windup space explorer pushing an ice cream cart. The whimsical design really caught my interest. Not really sure of the production year, but according to auction websites it's alreadg vintage.

Takara Licca wearing handmade Card Captor Sakura Costume
I grew up watching Card Captor Sakura. What I love about the show is the various costumes that she wears in every episode. When I finally can sew doll clothes, it's one of my goals to make even one of her clothes. This is my handsewn doll clothes of Sakura's pink kitty costume from episode 8 (where she captured Thunder). For Licca-chan, I have to trim her hair to copy Sakura's hairstyle.

Takara Timotei (Jenny friend) 1995
A new version of Timotei was produced by the year of 1995. The notable change on the doll was her eye. the first version has blue eyes, and this second version has green eyes. I think the hair is also longer. I read in one of the museums here- Oswald's Museum- that there are a lot of small changes on every reproduction of the green-eyed Timotei.

Fashionable Pico Dress-up Doll by Sega 2000
I don't know much about this doll. What helped me a bit to find information about her is the markings at her back which are "SEGA" and the year 2000. I read somewhere that there is an educational computer for kids called PICO made by Sega. Not sure if this doll is related to that. I don't have her original clothes. But good thing Licca's little twin sisters' clothes fit her perfectly.

Cure Milky doll Bandai (Star Twinkle Pretty Cure)
Maybe produced at the same year as Cure Star at the year 2019. Short haired dolls for me are very adorable. Cure Milky shows a fun personality. I even love how they designed her clothes and accessories. The doll really resembles how she looks like in the anime.

Pretty Cure Splash Star Cure Bloom Bandai Doll
I am guessing that Cure Bloom doll was produced by Bandai at the same year of 2006, just like Cure Egret. I adore dolls that have short hair and very bright clothes. I only have a few dolls with orange hair colors, so I really love that I have her in my collection.

Worpromate 290 by Bandai 1987
Produced by Bandai at the year of 1987, Worpromate is a dial typewriter made for kids. What's fun with this is there's a counterpart for girls (Lettermate) and unisex (Seallettermate). The Lettermate version has also featured famous magical girls such as Magical Angel Creamy Mami. For the Worpromate that I bought, it is still complete with the cartridges, botlle of ink, postcards, stationeries and letter envelopes. The cartridges have katakana, hiragana, and romaji. What made me buy this toy aside that it's produced in the 80's was it reminded me of the times when we still use typewriters in writing letters and doing school projects. Growing up in the 80's and 90's the changes in technology was really fast. I remember I was almost getting good at using the typewriters and then suddenly computers were introduced. In a blink of an eye, there were no bulky computers and laptops became the trend. Technology for me seems crazy sometimes and amazing at the same time.

Bandai Cure Black mini doll (Futari wa Pretty Cure)
I don't really know if this is a rare item now but the production date according to an online auction house is 2004, the same year the Futari wa Pretty Cure anime was aired. From where I live these dolls were really rare. It is a surprise for me that this doll has glass eyes because commonly I only see painted eyes for Bandai dolls. I think that's what made her unique.

Pretty Cure Splash Star Cure Egret Bandai doll
This Cure Egret doll was produced by Bandai at the year of 2006. What I love about her is her purple hair and her accessories, especially the miniature compact on her waist. A bit difficult to hunt because shops nowadays were full of the newer Precure dolls. I was lucky enough to purchase this doll atlast!

1977 Koeda-chan tree house
The 1977 Koeda-chan tree house is the first tree house playset in the toy line. A complete set included a swing, a yellow bird and telescope-looking object that you can attach on the top of the tree. There were also yellow furnitures and cute pink cardboard deviders for each room. The 1977 Koeda-chan figures were also different. Their bodies were orange before. Mine is not complete. I also don't have the 1977 figures (hoping I can find one soon). But I'm very happy that I got the very first Koeda-chan tree house that pioneered the charm of the toy line from the 70's to the 2000s.
