実力あるこれからの未知の才能を秘めたアーティストの作品を主にご紹介します。

woodcut on paper with pigment 湯浅 克俊 / KATSUTOSHI YUASA 1978年東京生まれ。2002年、武蔵野美術大学造形学部油絵学科卒業。2005年、ロイヤルカレッジオブアート修士課程版画学科修了。大学院修了後は世界各国のアーティストインレジデンス（滞在制作）に参加しながら作品を制作。主な滞在制作先としてはライクスアカデミー（アムステルダム）、シテデザール（パリ）、カラアートインスティチュート（バークリー）など。国内外で数多くの個展を開催、美術館での展覧会にも参加。最近の主な個展はArtify
Gallery（香港）、Lawrence Art Center（米国）、Galerie der
StadtBacknang（ドイツ）。参加した主なグループ展としてはC-mine cultuurcentrum（ベルギー）、Kala Art
Gallery（バークリー）、名古屋市立美術館、横浜美術館など。近年は展覧会のキューレションも行う。主なパブリックコレクションとしてLaing Art
Gallery（英国）、New York Public
Library（米国）、Victoria&AlbertMuseum（英国）など。2011年、イギリスにおいて版画に対する２つの大きな賞である、Towry
Print PrizeとNorthern Print Prizeを受賞。

Katsutoshi Yuasa (b. 1978, Japan) was educated at the Musashino Art University and continued to attain an MA Fine Art and Printmaking from the Royal College of Art, London. Recently, Yuasa has had numerous solo exhibitions, such as Illuminate: Woodcuts by Katsutoshi Yuasa at the Lawrence Art Centre, Kansas in the US, Light Itself at Galerie der Stadt Backnang in Germany, as well as Tristes Tropiques at Gallery YUKI-SIS in Toyko. He has also participated in a recent group exhibition such as Monet's Legacy at Yokohama Museum of Art and Nagoya City Art Museum in Japan, Suspended Temporality at the C-mine cultuurcentrum,Genk in Belgium and Approaching Zero – At the frontier of contemporary printmaking at Kala Art Gallery, Berkeley in the US. He won the UK's honorable print prizes; Towry Print Prize and Northern Print Prize in 2011.
