ボトム・ラインは1974-2004年まで営業していたニューヨークの小さなライヴ・ハウスです。キャパはわずか400でそのためか、あるいは当時のルーが凝っていたバイノーラル録音がなされているためか、ルーの声が近く生々しく聴こえます。演奏は地元らしくリラックスした雰囲気で、全曲一発録り。ルーはライヴ・アルバムが多いですが、これが一番好きだという人が多いのではないでしょうか？？当時大人気だったパティ・スミスの76年秋の名盤を嫉妬してでしょう、「な～にがラジオ・エチオピアだ、クソッタレ、俺はラジオ・ブルックリンだ」と毒づくルーが可愛いです。
