両面のラベルに悪名高きユージン・ランディの名前がエグゼクティブ・プロデューサーとして大きくクレジットされています。また多くの曲でユージン・ランディやランディの妻のアレクサンドラ・モーガンが共作者としてクレジットされています。ちなみに、ランディは1992年にウィルソンとの接触を禁じられ、2000年再発盤からはクレジット記載がなくなりました。

メンタルを病んだ患者を利用するような全ての医師に鉄槌が下りますように。

"Love And Mercy"は1965年の名曲"What the World Needs Now Is Love"を弾いているときに思い付いたとされる曲です。Brian Wilsonのお気に入りらしく、そこらじゅうで重要なシーンで演奏していますが、・・・まったくいいとは思えません。。。
