ジャニスが人選まで行って録音した初めてのアルバムで、"Between The Lines"のアレンジで参加したRon Frangipaneを共同プロデュースに迎えて、また"Miracle Row"（邦題「奇跡の街」）のエンジニアLeanne Ungerを迎えています。ほか、大半のピアノはジャニス自身が弾いていますが、なんとChick Coreaも参加しています (tracks: B5)、Ron Carterも参加 (tracks: B4)。ジャニスは "I felt like for the first time, I was recording the music I heard in my head."と言ってます。

ちなみにジョディ・フォスター主演の1980年の映画Foxes（邦題「フォクシー・レディ」）で使用された"Fly Too High"が大ヒットしました。

時代の流れに沿った作りで、個人的にはどうも好きになれません。
