あの"Kind Of Blue"が録音されたのは1959年3月2日と4月22日で、3月2日のセッションは "So What", "Freddie Freeloader", "Blue in Green"を録音したそうです。その10日後にBill Evansが録音したのが本作品と思うと、俄然興味が湧きます。しかもトロンボーンのBob Brookmeyerとのピアノ連弾って・・・。
